It's a lovely summer day, perfect for spending at the beach. A busload of beachgoers disembark and set up along the sand to enjoy the cool breezes and sun. A trio of siblings decide they will spend their day in the best possible way: building a sandcastle. They pat and shape the sand as the sun travels across the sky. With each sandcastle iteration, they are met with some unforeseen obstacle: a hat gets caught in the wind and topples their castle, a toddler walks through it, and the tide continues to creep ever closer. But with each demolition, the determined builders find ways to construct a new sandcastle, bigger and better than the one that came before, until it's time to load back onto the bus and head home
